KompWatch's founding member offer lets the first 100 paying customers lock in today's prices forever — even as the product grows and pricing increases for new customers.
What Is Founding Member Pricing?
When you subscribe on an annual plan, you're offered the chance to lock in your current rate as a founding member. This means:
- You pay the same annual rate for as long as your subscription remains active
- Future price increases for new customers do not affect your locked-in rate
- Your founding rate is tied to your annual billing cycle — it renews at the same price each year
This is a one-time opportunity for early adopters who believe in the product early and want to protect their rate.
How Many Slots Are Available?
100 slots total across Pro and Team annual plans. The pricing page shows how many slots remain. When all 100 are claimed, the founding pricing offer closes and new subscribers pay the standard rate.
Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis at the moment of payment. Selecting the plan on the pricing page does not hold a slot — completing the checkout does.
Which Plans Are Included?
Founding pricing applies to annual subscriptions on Pro and Team plans.

How Do I Claim Founding Pricing?
- Go to kompwatch.com/pricing
- Ensure Annual billing is selected (founding pricing only applies to annual)
- If slots remain, a founding member badge is shown on the plan card
- Click Start free trial or Get started — your rate is locked when you complete checkout
You will see the founding rate reflected in your Stripe checkout before you confirm payment.
What Happens to My Rate If I Upgrade or Downgrade?
- Upgrading from Pro to Team (annual): Your new Team plan rate is locked at Team's founding price if slots are still available at the time of upgrade
- Downgrading from Team to Pro (annual): Your Pro plan rate reverts to the standard annual Pro rate at the time of downgrade — your Team founding lock does not carry over to Pro
- Switching to monthly: If you switch from annual to monthly billing, you leave the founding rate. Switching back to annual after that will not reinstate founding pricing
Does Founding Pricing Last Forever?
Yes — for as long as you maintain an active annual subscription. The rate renews at the same price each year automatically.
If you cancel your subscription and later resubscribe, founding pricing is not available again. New subscribers always pay the current standard rate.
What If the Slots Run Out Before I Check Out?
If all 100 slots are claimed while you're in the checkout flow, you'll be charged the standard annual rate instead. The price shown at the Stripe checkout confirmation screen is what you will pay — if it reflects the founding rate, you're locked in.
If you want to secure founding pricing, don't delay once you've decided.
I Already Subscribe Monthly — Can I Switch to Founding Pricing?
Yes, if slots remain. Go to Settings → Manage Subscription and switch to annual billing via the Stripe Customer Portal. If founding slots are still open, your annual rate will be the founding rate.
If slots are already gone by the time you switch, you'll pay the standard annual rate.
