Where Does KompWatch Get Competitor Pricing Data?
The pricing comparisons on our pricing page reference figures like "$28,750/yr" for enterprise CI platforms (Crayon, Klue). Here's where those numbers come from and how to evaluate them.
Our Sources
Vendr / Vendr Benchmarks — Vendr aggregates anonymized SaaS transaction data from thousands of B2B purchases. Their 2026 benchmark data shows median Crayon contracts at $28,750/yr and Klue contracts in the $20K–$40K range. These are the most reliable publicly available figures for enterprise CI tools.
G2 Buyer Intent & Review Data — G2 collects self-reported pricing from reviewers. Crayon reviews consistently cite five-figure annual contracts. We cross-reference G2 against Vendr to spot outliers.
Public Pricing Pages — Where competitors publish pricing directly (RivalSense, Changeflow, Seeto, Caelian), we source from their pricing pages and note the date reviewed.
Procurement disclosures — Some SaaS tools publish or share redacted contract ranges in public pitch decks, investor memos, or media coverage. We incorporate these where available.
Caveats
- Enterprise prices are negotiated. The $28,750/yr figure is a median, not a floor or ceiling. Smaller teams may pay less; larger enterprises may pay significantly more.
- Prices change. We review competitor pricing quarterly. If you see a figure that seems off, email us and we'll verify.
- We're biased. We publish these comparisons to make the case for KompWatch. Read them critically and do your own diligence — most of these tools have free trials or will share pricing on a call.
KompWatch's Pricing Is Public
Unlike most enterprise CI tools, KompWatch publishes its full pricing without a sales call. You can sign up for a free plan (2 competitors, no credit card) and upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings.
