Billing by Invoice or Purchase Order (PO)

KompWatch billing runs through Stripe. Here's how invoices work and what options exist for teams that need to pay by purchase order or bank transfer rather than credit card.

Does KompWatch Send Invoices?

Yes — Stripe automatically generates a PDF invoice for every payment. To download yours:

  1. Go to kompwatch.com/settings
  2. Click Manage Subscription
  3. In the Stripe Customer Portal, select Billing history
  4. Click the download icon next to any invoice

Invoices include your company name (if entered at checkout), the plan, billing period, and payment amount. They are formatted for expense reimbursement and accounting software.

Can I Add a Company Name or VAT Number to Invoices?

Yes — in the Stripe Customer Portal, click Update information to set:

  • Company name — appears on the invoice header
  • Billing address — required for some tax jurisdictions
  • VAT / Tax ID — automatically applied to invoices once saved (VAT exemption may apply for EU businesses with a valid VAT ID)

Changes apply to future invoices. To update a past invoice, email support@kompwatch.com and include your billing address and tax ID.

Can I Pay by Bank Transfer or Purchase Order?

Self-serve checkout requires a credit card or debit card. For teams that need to pay by bank transfer, wire, or PO:

Available for: Annual Team plan ($1,428/year) only.

How to request:

  1. Email billing@kompwatch.com with the subject "Invoice billing request"
  2. Include your company name, billing contact email, and PO number (if applicable)
  3. We'll send a Stripe-generated invoice payable by bank transfer with Net-15 terms

Monitoring begins once payment clears. We do not extend access on a pending-PO basis.

Not available for:

  • Monthly plans (any tier) — Stripe charges cards on renewal, no manual invoicing
  • Annual Pro — below our invoice billing threshold; contact us if your situation is an exception

Can I Get a Quote or Order Form?

For procurement teams that need a formal quote or order form before raising a PO, email billing@kompwatch.com. We can generate a quote with line-item pricing and a 30-day validity window.

Frequently Asked Questions

My finance team needs invoices in a specific format — can you customize them? We can't customize the Stripe invoice template. However, the downloaded PDF includes all standard fields (line items, amounts, dates, our company details) that most finance teams need. If a specific field is missing, email us.

Is there a setup fee? No. Pricing is exactly what you see on kompwatch.com/pricing — no onboarding fee, no implementation fee.

Can I pay monthly by invoice (not card)? Not currently. Invoice billing is only available for annual plans — monthly plans require a card on file.

Where do I send remittance advice? Email billing@kompwatch.com once a wire transfer is sent so we can match it to your account promptly.
